high frequency, or Tesla high frequency current, was first developed in the late 1800's by renowned scientist, Nikola Tesla. high frequency offers a number of treatments and functions and was used before the invention of our more modern antibiotics. high frequency was used for medical purposes such as treatment for strep throat and other infections. fast forward to now, and it is widely used by prestigious spas and well rounded professionals throughout the world as an important component of many skin care regimes and procedures.
